so her sister hid her ability all this time because her ability was dangerous to others? exactly the opposite of our girly, because her ability is dangerous to herself. I did not expect this plot twist AT ALL. how did she hide it so well, for so many years, even from her parents? to think she endured all those horrible behaviors, and even accepted being used as a sacrifice for her sister... I don't even know what words to use to describe that. she was so selfless. My love for the sister just grew tenfold. I wish she didn't have to die.
Maybe I'm being delusional but we saw that the black haired guy is really bad at rejecting people, I don't know why, but it shows why he has so many negative reviews because he can't refuse people even if he doesn't like them so he obviously doesn't treat them like a partner either, but he's still kinda sus. And that 5 star review could be from a one night stand as well? We don't know. I just find it weird that her ex and the freshman don't have "new information" tabs when she obviously had/has affection for them.
Spoiler (somewhat?) alert y'all!
I really hate how toxic male leads usually have a
character development and everyone just forgets whatever shit they've done before. I read some spoilers and also some chapters of the original novel, and although I'd love a character development, I still think that Layla deserves much much better than this obsessive abusive and sick man.

i know it was off putting when he said he won't let her go, but also, she doesn't want to go so i guess that works out for them.
I'm also curious why the monsters are appearing where they shouldn't. is it because she's not at the borders killing them or is someone plotting something? the king introduced them together so it'd be weird if he was the one behind it..
Yeah I read a bit of the novel and this dynamic continues for quite some time. He keeps shutting her in amd locking her in her bedroom and castle but she doesn't even want to go out and doesnt even care about the outside lmao. Its so different to other stories.
