I'm actually so close to dropping this manhwa this is too fucking much the only thing keeping me is the hope i have for uke to just be fucking happy for ONCE, the poor baby is just getting r*ped, manipulated, blackmailed, and humiliated every chapter this is not enjoyable at all, and don't y'all even think about trying to defend something here. I wish this manhwa would've gotten an actual good ending with either seme going to prison and uke moving on with his life or one of them dies atp. But that's not what's gonna happen i believe, this toxic relationship is gonna drag on for long enough untill either the uke goes insane and accepts his fate with seme or seme actually coming to his senses, unfortunately it's gonna be either one of those because this stuff just sells better than an actual realistic ending. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
The uke did do something to deserve this, he just doesn't remember so it hasn't been shown but it's hinted at. Juyeons life was basically ruined by jiwook, so he won't come to his senses everything he's done is irreversible. It'd be more realistic for them to stay together and keep hurting each other or for one of them to die while the other is left completely broken not out of love or mourning but probably mental illness. But jiwook did do something to prompt this situation hence the alternative title being "walk in my shoes"
Okay but what could've he possibly done to get such an extreme punishment like this? It would be bit more understandable if it's got something to do with -I'm assuming the woman in the hospital is semes mother- his mothers health issues, but if it's for something like a high school bully revenge then that'd be unforgivable.

I don't know if you saw the other comment yet but when you see this you'll see the other one, and honestly doing something like what jiwook did requires exactly that punishment, seeing exactly whats happening does feel a little extreme but not after we find out what he did to juyeon in middle school. It happened when he was so young so it's not a stretch to say the majority of his life was ruined by jiwook. I just hate that jiwook doesn't remember, the punishment only makes sense if the person knows what they're being punished for. Other than that it's just painful to watch. One's hoping to get revenge and ease his mind in some fucked up way and the other doesn't even know what he did. They're both losing and it sucks.
Unless he personally killed and executed the other guy's family, there is absolutely nothing in the universe of sense to make whatever is happening to him actually deserved. There is nothing in this world that you can do for you to deserve this type of punishment, that is something you accumulated over lifetimes and reincarnation this is not something you just simply didn't his pies. Dude READ what he did before saying this. It is ABSOLUTELY deserved. Even if he doesn't remember that kind of damage is something the victim never forgets and I can't imagine going through what juyeon went through, especially when his mom is permanently in that state constantly reminding him of what jiwook did. If you haven't read other comments I'll tell you, because I thought the exact same thing as you. Jiwook (bottom) was confessed to by juyeon in middle school, so then jiwook raped him, got others to gang rape him and showed pictures of it to him mom. Which is why she's in that state and why juyeon also had to go to the psych ward. Rapists don't deserve death, that's too lenient. I don't like how the story is written because clearly its not meant to show how rape can affect a person and make them turn into what juyeon did. It's meant for people to get off. But either way its a reasonable punishment in my opinion, you don't get to just do that to someone and live the rest of your life without feeling the consequences of what you did.

The ending isn't rushed, it's a metaphoric ending just like the author envisioned it...the bridge scene is similar to the beginning of their relationship so it's like a closing/start of new beginnings. Also, upi-nim said she'll come back with side stories by the beginning of this autumn and that we'll get more of their life together after the grand escape
