Now why did he have to go and say that? "it's a future that needs to be prevented" ?! No, it's a future that needs to come true. MC needs to live and be happy with ML, my gooooooooood.

This story is like a trainwreck that you can't look away from. I liked how the MC had some common sense at the beginning, but I do wonder where tf it went. Like, how could you EVER go back to a guy that isolated you, treated you like a breedable sow, forced you to take drugs, practically r*ped you, and then hunted you down when you tried to run? Like, come tf on. Just because he cried in front of you like a little bitch because his toy ran away and his actions had consequences, does NOT mean you should take him back.
And call me fucked up, but I think that the fetus should have miscarried. This whole time they were talking about how "weak" and "frail" he is, but then he goes through this crazy hike in the woods. Not only was he still injured, but he also physically exerted himself and bled a little.
And can we talk about how the ML villainizes the grandma? Just because she wanted him to have a grandchild. Like, bro, she was just saying that so you would not be alone in the world when she died, and so you could find someone you love and stop being such an intolerable prick. Jeeeesus. He already has unlimited access to money and says that it is no issue, so why is he so bothered about getting his inheritance so soon?
I don't know if I can finish reading this fr.
I really liked the characters, the plot, and the art. The characters were flawed in their own ways and worked through their weaknesses together. With Geon's anxiety and fear of judgement, it was really relatable seeing him panic and make a decision he regretted. He had to live with the consequences. And Suo was so understanding and didn't hate Geon for his flaw, just didn't understand him. Then they communicated beautifully. And worked through the rocky parts of their relationship together.
Also, I loved the parents. They were so kind and amazing! I loved how they supported their son, and weren't homophobic. As a christian, we get such a bad rep, but accepting others as who they are and filling the world with love is what Christianity should really be about. Not bringing others down. I don't know how a parent could ever hate their own kid because of who they loved. And I don't get how strangers can hate others when they don't even know them all over their own preconceived notions. (rant over).
Anyway, I thought this was really good and worth the read.

I didn't read this sooner bc I wanted to let it marinate, and I didn't want to hop on the hype train, but this is good.
The art is beautiful, the story-telling is pretty natural (things don't feel rushed). And most of all, Lyle is the cutest, most lovable character ever. He needs to be protected at all cost. Does he have misunderstandings? Yes. Does he hide his pain when he should just communicate? Yes. Does he have self-esteem issues? Yes. But that is what makes him human. He doesn't realize how amazing he is, and he is humble.
As for Ash, I love how pretty/handsome he is. He is definitely a pretty boy and his smiles are beautiful. He also treats Lyle so well. One thing i don't like is that sometimes he goes too far. With the dirty jokes and "punishments" that can be hot, but it makes my heart tug for Lyle who is just confused or sad.
I loved that Lyle's family became supportive. Though I do think it is kind of crazy that it took his mom 33 years to see that Lyle was pushing himself too hard and to say I LOVE YOU. Like, did no one think that his lack of emotion was a serious sign of depression?!
Anyway... their interactions were so sweet and I loved it. 10/10, would read again.
I am on chapter 41 so far, but I don't know if I'll finish it. It's low key pissing me off. Jing, the MC, is supposed to be this amazing assassin, but ever since the ML shows up he just constantly SA's him and doesn't listen to a thing he says. Why does he want him to become an omega? Why can't he just be a beta? Why can't Jing have say over his own body? Why can't he just try and win him over like a NORMAL person. Instead, he's doing all this weird shit and relying on his pheremones to practically gaslight Jing and give him stockholm syndrome, thinking they're in love.
I love male characters with pink hair. They're hot. It's even better when they're handsome af. This artist has amazing talent. Chestnut is so cute and the men are hot.
