thats fine if you want to be blind, we americans value freedom much more than safety; its what makes us great. our country is the most free in existance, and we're glad that we're not controlled by leaders who want to take that away. your country has already been tricked and shackled, and you have all been raised to think that that's normal and good. but, its fine, continue being a blind slave. at least I know that i can protect myself from any weapon-weilding maniac. because even when guns are banned, you can never get rid of murder or the black market.

Well that great for you. But when people can walk in to like Walmart or one of those big stores you have and buy guns and bullets so very easily there is something wrong. And the guns laws you have, aren't those really old? Back when they were made, the guns sucked alot and now the guns have aproved so much. Its a lot easier to kill someone with a gun now then way back then, yes? And while you are very right about that your country is a very free land you are far from the most free country (in my opinion, I do not have all the facts so) in the world. And while you are not controlled by your leaders how much can you controll? (Its not a rhetorical question, I really have no idea since i can not understand your voting system) I belive that my conutry is not shackled and tricked but what do I know, I just live here. However with the infromation that I see and hear everyday the US has a kinda scary place at the moment with school shootings that happen so often that its not even in the news bc no one is suprised anymore. Now I do not wish to start a large shouting match about this, everyone has a opinion. And its not about who is right and who is wrong, its about who is less wrong then the other (=・ω・=)

What country are you from? I myself live in the U.S and i can honsetly say its not as dangerous as u seem to believe it is. While i do agree that there is crime, it is not always gun related. Besides getting a gun isnt as easy as u think, u need a permit to even buy a gun the legal way. And we also practice gun safety(he act of placing a gun under your name). And contrary to what u think there arent alot of school shooting (mostly police crime, so if your part of a minority race, u probably should be afraid). And your beliefs may not view us as free, but ive always believed we're as liberal as youll get. Its gotten so openminded that if ur gay, u could probably shout it out in public and walk away with not even 1 malicious comment. But that may jjst be the part of the u.s im from. Anyway, please visit the U.S before making such assumpions. If ur relying on articles and the internet, dont. They themselves probably havent been here either. U cant judge anything till youve been here yourself. And.....end of rant.

no offense, but it seems you dont know much about our gun laws, which i cant blame you for because you get your news from a (most likely) biast place. plus, a lot of the gun crimes happen because no one else has a gun on them besides the criminals. as i said before, if everyone had a gun, only the criminals would get shot. guns are meant to be used for protection

I understand that of course there are a lot of crimes that are in no way gun realated. However I do belive that some of your gun laws are flawed. Many laws either in my contry or yours most likley are.
I belive that one school shooting is one school shooting to many but anyway I am not a minorty (white girl).
And liberal you are but I however think that you should balance the ideologies not pick one but I have no plans of ever talking about politics because it sucks no matter the country so lets just not get in to that(〜￣△￣)〜.

When it comes to the info about the US that I have I don't just pick one source and say "This is the one and only source that I should listen to about ex US". The internet is of cource not always reliable but sometimes it is. The trick is to be wary about what you click on and compare.
Don't worry I'm not saying that the US 100% bad and everything gets shoot there. I would very much like to go and study in the us and go on vaction. But what I'm saying is that the Us has its wrongs but also has its rights. You just got to see both pro's and con's I thinkヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~ (sry for terrible spelling and phrasing it 3 am in sweden at the moment)

You're right, I know very little about your gun laws, mostly from what I have heard on from diffrent debates and people talking about the matter from their point of view (its biast, I know but always intresting to listen to) and the little reading I have done myself, I probably have a lot of facts wrong which is very annoying to say the least on my part.
I'm not sure I follow your thought process about only criminals getting shot. Its the human error that gets in the way a bit. I mean some people are, well just simply either crazy or evil or both. And is a person like that suddenly had feelt like why not, shot that person in the head? While the person most likely die since everyone has a gun, but the person that got shot still got shot. And while guns might be used to protect they are also used with the mission to kill in ex war. Or what do you think?

thats true, but even if guns were banned, people would still get them illegally. and if they do that, then only bad people will have guns. besides, someone could decide that they want to drive a truck into a crowd of people (which has happened) and that causes a lot more death than shooting. you can stop a crazy person with a gun, but not a vehicle moving at even 45 mph, let alone faster

Of course but I still belive that people can get their hands on guns way to easy but that is just my opinion. And yes, even if guns are banned people can still get a hold on them.
Yes the truck thing in France and Germany are very terrible and you are very right about that. (Hates those bloody terrrorist. Hope its over soon. )
However the facts remain that the US has a very high gun death statstic compared to other stable countrys (thou the nr is rising in EU. There are even gun related crimes next to my small town (⊙…⊙ ). There very few but still. Very scary to say the least.
