Parachute is from the helicopter itself, there are a bunch of stuffs near Dane's seat. Grayson only aims to distract Dane enough to take one nearby.

That's actually pretty valid. Since multiple novel chapters were being compressed into one manhwa chapter the storytelling can be a little too straightforward. I love this scene in the novel though.
