Don't read Naruto. I've taught five-year-olds with more creativity.

"All You Need Is Kill" is the shit. And "Beserk" isn't shounen, but dem guys be ripped. They're pretty OP, but I feel that the overall creativity and presentation of the story more than make up for it. It's still ongoing, though. Has been for over twenty years. "Tokyon
"Angel Densetsu" is great and the guy is strong, but it's a comedy with no intentional fighting. The guy is a total pacifist, but sometimes ends up accidentally beating the crap out of people.

I did not like it either, but many others seemed to. Bleach had a great concept but was was too dragged out. Love FMA though.

Oh, D. Gray Man is pretty good.

The "not-shippuden" part of Naruto was good! But the shippuden was indeed shit.
I don't think it's a matter of creativity tbh, it depends on what your read it for.
