I have mixed feelings about the story… Both the MC and ML are hard to like, but the ML especially gives me this really unsettling vibe. I feel like the ML is really skilled at manipulating people’s feelings. And that first interrogation scene with the MC really wasn’t it, especially the way the ML kept asking why the MC wasn’t willing to “spread his legs” to save himself

I just search the meaning of famiresu iko ending in google, so theres a reason on why kyouji seems half rejecting full hug from satomi, its bcs kyouji actually self retraining him from his own happinesss, he knew that if he get into a full romantic pr bond with satomi, itll come with a proce of satomi's safety, knowing that kyoujis job is a dangerous one, kyouji couldn't help but has to draw a line in their relationship so that he could ensure satomis safety (HESSOSSSSSOSOOSOSOS CARING THAT I STARTED TO CRY AT THIS DETAIL OMGGG THE AUTHORR IS SO GENIUS AND I LOVE HOW THEY DRAW THE DYNAMIC OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP) Ok back to the explanation, at the end of the story we can see that kyouji look back twice, it's potrayed of kyoujis regrets. (SAD OMG OMGGGG *sorry im trying to express my inner thought). But the way satomi also look back but not twice, i think it's bcs he wants to make sure of kyoujis thought or he seems worrying him?
