It’s so easy to skip those 2 chapters and focus on the main couple, that’s exactly what I did. I can’t even tell you if he was actually raped or if the secretary only molested him. I had no desire to see non-consensual sex when this story has been so great with consent this whole time. I will give the author their credit for not drawing it out & not making it come out of left field. To be fair they set up from the beginning with how wishy-washy the secretary was being from the get go so I won’t claim that it was just unnecessary when it actually does fit the plot. What I can say is that he beat the fuck out of the secretary & the alpha came and beat him some more which I really enjoyed and it was pivotal for the main couple relationship because it showed how deeply the alpha cared and how miscalculating the omega was this whole time about him. I can understand this being a hard pass for some ppl but this story genuinely deserves a 10 rating for how mature the MC relationship is and how the chapters just flow right through. I love the pacing of this manga, I started it yesterday and now I’m waiting for the next chapter, it’s really that good.
