It could be that Mikey from the future keeps coming back to the past to make sure he ends up becoming as he is in the future. And mikey telling takemitchy about that dark impulse is probably since he has memories of making ugly decisions but doesn't have reasons/consiousness of why he does them or probably because some things happen and he remember how/have memories of it. After all we have no idea of how the past takemitchy handles what has happened after the future one returns back to the future. And Mikey in the future probably realises that takemitchy changed the past since his present (which is the future) changes so he goes back to change it again. I dont know the reasons or anything. And its just a theory.

my thoughts as well. assuming mikey also goes back in time just as takemitchy shakes naoto's hand, he probably had no idea why it was happening and goes with the flow, constantly reliving all the terror but not being able to fully comprehend the phenomenon. this is shown when hina exposes takemitchy's secret at the hospital. if i recall, mikey's not the least bit shocked unlike draken who despite is just as grieved over emma. we could say that was the scene where mikey fully understood why he kept going back to time. and that takemitchy was the key to everything.
If that’s the case that means Mikey only started time traveling 10 years ago, which explains the sudden jump from 12 years to 10 years that Takemitchy experienced. It makes a lot of sense honestly BUT I remember Mikey was acting a BIT sus before he found out Takemitchy was a time traveler so idk.
But also that may not be the case at all tbh seeing as how Mikey has been shown a couple of times as a really tragic character, he may not have had any memories of the future and we’ve all been duped

Everyone saying it's anticlimactic or overdramatic, you guys have to know
1) there was already a lot of tension between the schools
2) this happened years ago and this teacher believes herself to be completely responsible and capable to have stopped the situation from happening. She saw the student breaking down and now blames herself for everything over the years. Obviously the guilt and everything makes her not want repeat that situation again. Most importantly, the teacher was CLOSE with the girl. It's literally like your good friend going through something so traumatic LIKE FALLING OFF A HILL??? Because OF GUYS who were already known to be rowdy and fucked up. And knowing YOU could have prevented that.
3) Asian schools are more strict about the relationship between male and female students mainly because SOCIETY is that way. Parents don't want their kids dating or pulling up scandals so it's strict so obv they want teachers to protect their kids from that and this teacher couldn't do that (supposedly)
I completely understand the teachers reaction and this was like a major incident. That girl was well known so obv the news spreads and everyone is afraid of chidori now, so the teachers and principal have a good reason to tell the students to hate them. Why does it have to escalate to SA or smth. This is really bad as itself. An innocent girl went through a horrific experience with so much pain and permanent injury. WHY is this being called ANTICLIMACTIC? What did y'all even expect man.
Because they don't see women as human beings. Apparently, she has to be S.A so the teacher can feel guilty.
