After reading some of the comments I guess I’m the only one who felt disgusted by what mc said. The fact that people love him even more because he decided to put his life before his baby’s AMAZES me. Yes, he’s indeed different, only bad parents or “not deserving to become one” parents would choose such a thing. That poor baby, I felt so bad for him/her.
You are already a mother and if you can’t put your child’s life before yours then why even become one? What kind of parent cares about their life more than their child’s? A bad one. Don’t come at me with comments like “the baby hadn’t born yet”, it’s still unaccaptable.

You can never understand because you’ve never been in his shoe. It’s a difficult, long hard thought process and you get scared at the end by what your purpose in life is. There are people that have done this in real life and they should not feel guilty at all as their life is affected as well. Why should they die over a baby that can be recreated and leave behind their beloved family while the child is raised alone with a burden/blame that their mother is killed because of them. In my opinion, that’s even worse than aborting them to save their own life, recover, and retry while the mother is still alive.

I have a feeling in the next chapters it will turn out he was actually worried for his son but when he saw him with his ex-stalker he just thought lowly of him. To him James was lowest of all so seeing his son with such a man probably leaded him to think Iliyan had no shame. I highly doubt that he has absolutely no love towards his son.
