I actually feel really bad for Naos this arc. Like, dude has issues, obvs. He’s the unmovable bolder of the story. And Most of his issues are because of his own stubbornness!!! Like not accepting Pania’s confession and rejecting her = all the BS with Logan we have to endure for multi chapters now ugh.

But also, he really does believe he’d make Pania’s life worse. Like, it’s not even an irrational fear, from his pov he really did ruin the life of his own family…He wants to be with her but he actually believes he’ll ruin her life…

Anyways, to end this arc with him being humiliated is very meh to me. Like I wished there was more comfort between Pania and Naos after the tentacle scene. It’s very much like “well that’s done now” but like Naos does not look with it. And like insecure with his relationship with Pania (his fault too) was kinda sad with his remark of “she must like me so much.” And the author’s commentary being like “no she’s just a perv.”

Well anyways, I just wished there’d be some heart to hearts between them at this point.

Surprising amount of plot in this chapter. I do wonder if Pania’s “curse deletion” skill will be used for Logan’s curse. I feel Naos is gonna run away the second this mission is over. This is too much for him like the beginning of S2’s mission.
Also, the author posted a side comic on Twitter basically saying this scene is more of a “monkey paw” scenario and Naos doesn’t actually have these types of desires (like dub con vines I assume???) and that she worries Naos will come after her irl lol

I wish every cute moment this season wasn’t dampened by angst. Like the date was cute, but then we have Pania being gloomy thinking Naos will forget her. Then we have Naos and Pania walking around town but Naos is like “I don’t belong here.” Like, can’t we just have fluff

The Damien stuff is meh but I like the priest. The first half of the comic is fun but after you find the main girl and the blonde priest do like each other it feels mehhhhhhh on the random sex partners. It doesn’t help that the Damien stuff if dub con. But I expect it’ll be harem ending anyways cause they’re both on the cover
