Yeah you kind of have to read for at least 20 chapters before the story picks up. The beginning part is kind of like a prologue. Apparently I’m the novel, the prologue was just flashbacks, but for some reason, they changed it in the manhwa and decided to show all of it at the beginning. Once the mc ages up, the story definitely picks up. He’s as unhinged as Chung myung but without the funny faces

I've read before in the past but dropped, I picked it back up (read 8 chaps) and I see why I dropped I just don't like the characters or the art. I've also dropped myst, might, mayhem. I'll read the reaper of the drifting moon soon. Thank you for the recommendation, I'm just a bit picky when it comes to action especially because a lot of times the same story is overused a lot

Have you tried one hit teacher baek or young master of the heavenly grand archive? Both have op mcs and they’re both unhinged and goofy in their own ways.

There’s also path of the shaman too, for another unhinged mc

Of course! I hope you like them! They’re definitely a bit slow at the beginning but things pick up once the mc goes to the academy for the one hot teacher one. Things pick up for heavenly grand archive once he leaves the archives too! Just get past the first initial arc and they get really fun! Path of the shaman definitely feels more Chung myung-esque personality wise imo too!
