As an aromantic, as soon as his flashback started i knew he’s one as well. He feels a different type of love towards mc but it isnt romantic…maybe family love or friendship ? Anyw he should look things up if he isnt certain idk why he hasnt done that now…also he should’ve communicated to her. Ik how scary it is to tell the person you’re dating that you dont feel romantic love but if you dont tell them they’ll hurt even more
