yes, I figured, I've seen it before... but what does it mean? I've always guessed it meant something like ' a happy person all the time'... but that doesn't really apply here.. So I was probably wrong, and am confused. :/
I think, In this case, she was visually designed to look really similar with her sister but also look more seemingly soft-hearted? Though these types of anime looks might fit with the archetype of happy go lucky ones, but it's still up to one's interpretation, really. This is more just of an assumption with the illustrator's choices of design.
I appreciate you continuing the translation @ chp. 26... While I like the official translations of course, it drives me crazy when I am far into a story and it starts over with the Official translation and I have to wait months or longer to get back where I was.
This is enjoyable, the art is so lovely, and I was moved several times by this story. Thanks for the translation!
The art is so beautiful, and I thought when I started, 'pretty art, probably a silly plot'. But no, it's intriquing. I hope it stays good and not too angsty..
Came back to check if it had gotten better, but it's even worse. Read the comments about what happens next. There is no redemption that is worth it, and there is no reason to put myself through this OTT abusive story. The author tried to top how despicable the seme father was I guess. Just too vile.
The art is stunning. The different angles of bodies are done so well, not to mention the coloring. I like the story, but I am not crazy about how sentimental she is about someone she thought dropped her when he found out she was pregnant. No matter what we know, she thought he called her and told her to get lost. I know she had a small doubt, but she's too soft with him imo, after 7 years .
Did she not discover the reason though? She minded her business and didn’t plan to interest with him before she knew and was just mad. But she’s mature enough that she found out the reason was that he had amnesia, and didn’t blame him for getting into such an accident and the effects it had on him. All those other FLs that hold a grudge even after knowing the reason, are the ones being stubborn and not caring about the well-being of the child. This FL is thinking of both him and her child. She realized that he DIDNT drop her because she was pregnant and that she was wrong. Why would it make sense to stubbornly hold onto that grudge. Also she had already mentioned how she wasn’t actually angry anymore since it’s been years and that anger fizzled out due to having her kid.
yes, she did say she wasn't angry anymore because it had been years. But, I guess I would wonder why he called me and dumped me in a cruel way. Does that make sense? Even IF I felt he didn't know me at the time, why would he do that? But from the beginning of when they met again, she was affected by him. I can't imagine how I would feel if I had been through that, but it's hard to think I would have warm fuzzies for him.
I think it’s cause she guessed that someone had done something to possibly manipulate him. After all, she did meet his mother right after the accident and his mom was super rude towards her. If it were me, it wouldn’t have been hard to guess that the mom said something/messed with his phone to make him believe I was some crazy stalker. It’s true that he could’ve looked into it more, but then again he did JUST wake up after the accident, his memories all gone, completely different personality due to the amnesia, and by then he likely forgot over the years hence why he couldn’t even think of the possibility that FL is the girl he cut off contact with on the phone.
Anyways I think the main reason why she may still feel something toward him is because he has always been good to her, and it was only that one single sentence that he was cold. Meaning she remembered him with a lot more good memories than that one bad memory. Now that she got the hint of why he changed/was cold, she didn’t have much of a reason to hold onto any anger.
It wasn’t like all the other separation+time skip stories where the ml is trash and treated the fl badly a ton before she left.
The art is so much eye candy. Love it. This chapter revealed quite a bit about those three men in her life.
