I really enjoy this one... I have wondered from time to time if I will get bored, but NOPE, I just keep having fun with it. I like all the characters and the art and story. So happy to get to read it hear, thank you.
It seemed out of character for Ennid to threaten and promise bad behavior if he traveled with Glunn and Glunn ended up married with an heir ( basically). I feel like according to the story right now, Ennid knows how the world works, and he's been such a kind, rational character... It was just jarring to hear him say it and the fortune teller prophesize it.
eh i disagree. ennid is cool and all but i wouldnt describe him as “kind” seth is literally scared of him lmao. he has had some dramatic and unpleasant thoughts throughout the story, sometimes downright aggressive - especially as it pertains to him being played or discredited. he is especially touchy around people (specifically nobles!) undermining him and so glunn promising him love and status and then whisking him away to another country under the guise of respecting his skill and power while planning on marrying someone else deemed ‘worthy’ by his family’s likely classist rules and restrictions and relegating ennid to mistress status after wooing him this hard is like the ULTIMATE disrespect. it made complete sense to me that he would tweak out over that.
ennid’s lil violent streak is actually one of the reasons i like his character so much lol. he’s got ~nuance~. i would say he’s more pragmatic and resigned to/accepting of his fate than ‘kind’. also rich guys making bad decisions and everyone else just dealing with it isnt “rational”, its exactly why ennid has been suffering for years in the first place.
Oh boy... how wrong of you, Ennid is kind while he literally beat up the crown prince? Are you sure my guy. He was never 'naive' or 'kind', he was forced to bend to society role all his life. Ennid was ALWAYS the crazy one in this relationship lol

I actually do think Ennid is kind, but he isn't a saint nor is he forgiving. He can be really vindictive when it comes to those who use or betray him. It's actually pretty realistic, because it shows that being kind isn't the same as being a pushover.
TBH I was so mad a Micheol after how he snubbed her so coldly.. that I REALLY wanted her to seriously consider the SML and spend quality time with him. I looked forward for the story to start back up so I could watch what happened between the main characters. But we got flashbacks , and second couple romance.. and ... I can't remember.. because I was bored and disappointed. All the emotion that I had when he walked away has completely dissipated.
I'm so happy and appreciative it's being uploaded again. I did feel frustrated in the first 2 1/2 chapters after the break in the story tho... the fmc missing her bus(es) and ended up with friends. Moping and worrying about the mmc. I know that's natural, but I don't want to see a lot of it. We were totally set up by the last chapter where the SML saw her standing there crying.. but the minute she openly said on the phone she confessed and was rejected I felt a light shine on me :)
Right when Ennid is thinking he will marry Gunn, Gunn goes and asks THAT! I felt a little gut punch for Ennid.
While I love that the ML always surprised me in this story , by caving and completely turning into a puppy for the MC... atp I would like the MC to believe that the ML has someone who is interested in him and may reciprocate.. I know their schtick is they are dumb and dumber, but it would be fun to see the clueless MC at least have one worry after all this time.
Shout out to the uploader, I want to thank you so much for uploading the official chapters to the current place in the story in record time. That's why I usually hate when official chapters take the place of the currently uploading chapters, sometimes you have to wait a year or more to get back to where you were. I just appreciate you so much!
I hate when they get deep into a story, then stop... then the updates are all the official chapters starting from the beginning.. It can put it off a year or more to find out what happens next. :/
This was one of my favs... It felt in the middle it started rushing along , the story felt as tho it glossed over anything that happened. And that just got worse near the end. imo
