ADOREDDD this story in so many ways, but I am still confused by exactly what the ending pact was? Jonathan just said “be the only one to say my name for all eternity”, is this a pact that keeps him alive or at the top forever? Is this the same curse that Jonathan was talking about that Wald left on him? So if he said Makotos name before the pact would the cycle not have continued? Not sure of the significance in that sense would love someone to help explain
