I remember wishing a few months ago that there were many more omegaverse manga but I think I need to be careful what I wish for because now there are a ton and many of them are all very similar in plot. Many have a yandere and rapey vibe to them as well. I like the string of omegaverse coming our way but I really hope it doesn't become the norm. Cole turned out to be much more than just a depressed gay boy. He is seriously ill. Maybe Alex is also ill in a type of way to be able to accept that sort of thing. The last two chapters suddenly got really heavy and then turned light again all of the sudden. If you are going to turn a manga that direction then you have to commit to it. It feels like the mangaka was either rushed or had a change of mood midway in making this. It could have been great if they had stuck to one of those directions. If she was going to go with the depressed boy theme then it actually could have been pulled off really well and be very meaningful but it came out half-assed. It is not always the mangaka's fault. They have to meet deadlines and people are always criticizing them.
If Cole had done that to me then it would have been an instant breakup. I also would have called the cops to get him evaluated. I guess Alex is also fucked up. I really don't know how I feel about this. I see so many comments calling this "cute" and that is definitely not what it is.
