•bc the writer set a cliché plot in a interesting way;
•ML's characterization checked many of my good boxes for toxic characters;
•author was efficient in making MC hate-able, but not enough for us not to feel empathy for his situation;
•art is amazing;
•both ML and MC are attractive;
•their dynamic during calm times is fun, making me miss it when things go to shit and dread ot when how calm times will be broken.
in short, this work makes me feel all the emotions it promises by the genre and tags, so... I read it bc it's good
