He didn't need this tragic weird ass backstory. He's fine how he is. Author's need to get comfortable with readers consuming the story and personality without writing characters backwards.

Literally! Theres always a reasoning for why someone behaves the waybthey do and author did a job well done showing us his past so we can try to understand his character.
This is not a dark romance. Its just anotger story portraying real wmotions and situations that people can go through. Not evrything has to be dark black, sometimes a little lights leaking from one the cracks is way better.
I can see how it was written. I hate when characters are written backwards.

Can someone spoil just this part for me? Like do they all know each other outside of the game and they're all playing a multiplayer game together, but they got stuck and all their memories got jumbled from being stuck in the game and they forgot each other and they're all players who just think the others are NPCs because they forgot?

I just finished the last chapter and from my understanding, it's not exactly a game. The 5 (excluding Pi Bada) went on a trip to a cabin in the mountains and that place is cursed. The goal is to solve the curse so that they can leave.
So they are not players from a separate world with different names and appearances who bought a game and got sucked into a different dimension. For example: Doha is still Doha even at the end and he was Doha before the game started. This is different from the typical Isekai where a character enters a different world as different person.
*** Earlier I said excluding Bada because the way he joined the group was a little special, but I don't know if want that spoiled as well. (=・ω・=)
What's actually wrong with this author. They need to be locked tf up
