Oh my former athlete heart just broke for him. Nobody understands how it feels to put not just hours but days, years of your life to something and for all of that to be lost in a single moment. You lose everything. Oh my god, and then on top of it his purpose was to make himself a better fit for her. Oh i absolutely get why he’s so lost on how to deal with her.
