Wow a lot of people are being very cruel. A lot of women believe miscarriages and infertility is a woman’s fault. In the last few years we’ve now seen research actually finding more fault with men than women. Of course she’s gonna be hurt, of course she’s gonna think her husband has been pillow talking his mistress. There’s a certain amount of loyalty you expect from someone you spent a large part of your life with. We know she’s not done that to her ex yet would he do that to her? We know that’s not true but at this point she could believe he would. It’s hurtful it stings at a wound that’s always been there. And it doesn’t help that she’s been imagining a future with her new partner. What if he finds out her “failure” would he do her the same way as her ex husband? Cmon yall give her some grace.
I just wanted Haeso to stand up for herself. She is always becoming a victim because she is easy to bully that is why minshit and even Ari can do all those shit to Haeso. Her miscarriage, her deepest secrets she cherished are also important. Yeah, it hurts knowing that the mistress knew all of that but that is expected of minshit gurl. At this point the author is just making Haeso suffering almost 90% of the manhwa because of the shitty characters and 10% is her happy ending with Taeha. I don’t like how the author make it seems that only Taeha can protect Haeso. Haeso can protect herself from minshit and Ari but she is written like that.
She did defend herself though. She’s just not being cruel. She’s been setting boundaries she’s been moving on. She’s just not being physical or being cruel the way others do. She’s not even technically relying on her ML. She’s just quietly trying. Shes showing kind of a quiet maturity a lot people aren’t confrontation we’ve seen that in the story from other characters.
Haeso didn’t try to defend herself to Ari and just told Ari that minshit is hers to take. That is setting boundaries, but not enough to stop Ari from harassing her like some trash. Ari didn’t hesitate to come up to her and harrass her at her workplace. Ari didn’t even hesitate as a woman to humiliate Haeso for her miscarriage. Haeso being so weak willed always infront of so many characters that bullied her in this manhwa, just show a little character development. Haeso is aware that minshit and the others who has fault to her can trample her like that. Like the author just love creating some nonsense bullying to Haeso and let Haeso be trampled like that. Enduring does not mean “grace of a woman” or “ being strong willed” is just shows that she cannot stand up for herself in circumstances like this. Trampling her dignity as a woman and let Ari humiliate her like that? Why she can’t just say something for herself since she’s the victim?

Secondly I can see why Minho’s father might look at our girl and be interested. She’s showing kindness and understanding toward both him and his son which the person he thought was his wife showed. He’s gonna see the woman he knew before in her. While also being traumatized by that memory. I don’t know if he likes her or she reminds him of his past before. Remember Minho doesn’t see her that way at all. This might just be appreciation not romantic. Maybe even longing for the life he had before.

First off. I love Nini. She’s amazing and I want her to stay young forever. Secondly I’m beyond curious about the grandma and the pink haired girl of the duke’s family. Thirdly I love her family and the side characters the world feels so lived in, it feels so alive. I definitely didn’t expect that at all when I first started ready but wow!
I’m living for him being fully supportive of her showing her stuff.
