Honestly what a lovely way to end this manhwa. She wanted to find herself, and she did. This kind of the biggest criticism I’ve seen from a lot of these manhwa from audiences is the FL not going with her own plan and just settling down with the ML. No she still wanted a career and she wanted to becoming more confident. Which I’d say before she left for England she showed that. But I’m happy she stuck with it. And the end result is finally them both in better positions and him willing proposing without any extra pressure and her free from circumstances that might hold her back. I think a solid story with a good end. What more can I ask for. Was it cliche? Yes. But it was a good read for what it was.
Here’s the thing. He’s always wanted her to be the one to make the choice and have the final say. We’ve heard her internal monologues and her frustration with her ex husband he hasn’t. Which is why her finally saying I’m tired of him hurting me I don’t want him around me. You have to remember her ex controlled a lot her life and she never fought back. Despite how much Taeha wanted to push and take her. He let her set the pace of the relationship and knew she’d need to be one to set boundaries. Even their divorce while yes it was her choice she never pushed forward proudly that she wanted to move on. Not to him. She’s now making it clear, she’s done. She wants to be proudly in a relationship with Taeha. She’s not fearful of the repercussions because it’s clear her holding the high ground doesn’t matter when her ex is playing dirty.
Honestly I like the ending. Very different from a lot of these stories where the ending is the romance. Instead it’s her dad telling her she doesn’t have to worry and she can stay by his side forever if she wants. I think that’s a perfect end to this. We started with a girl who didn’t even know if she’d ever call him that and we end with them talking about living together forever and her fondly calling him dad. It’s a cute end.

Honestly not bad also the romance being one side from her side mostly makes sense. She’s a girl finally finding comfort and peace with a person who constantly believes in her and never undermines her thoughts or feelings. Yeah I can see it being love. The real question is when he’ll feel the same way and how he’ll deal with his own goal and mission.
I’m living for him being fully supportive of her showing her stuff.
Wow a lot of people are being very cruel. A lot of women believe miscarriages and infertility is a woman’s fault. In the last few years we’ve now seen research actually finding more fault with men than women. Of course she’s gonna be hurt, of course she’s gonna think her husband has been pillow talking his mistress. There’s a certain amount of loyalty you expect from someone you spent a large part of your life with. We know she’s not done that to her ex yet would he do that to her? We know that’s not true but at this point she could believe he would. It’s hurtful it stings at a wound that’s always been there. And it doesn’t help that she’s been imagining a future with her new partner. What if he finds out her “failure” would he do her the same way as her ex husband? Cmon yall give her some grace.

Secondly I can see why Minho’s father might look at our girl and be interested. She’s showing kindness and understanding toward both him and his son which the person he thought was his wife showed. He’s gonna see the woman he knew before in her. While also being traumatized by that memory. I don’t know if he likes her or she reminds him of his past before. Remember Minho doesn’t see her that way at all. This might just be appreciation not romantic. Maybe even longing for the life he had before.

First off. I love Nini. She’s amazing and I want her to stay young forever. Secondly I’m beyond curious about the grandma and the pink haired girl of the duke’s family. Thirdly I love her family and the side characters the world feels so lived in, it feels so alive. I definitely didn’t expect that at all when I first started ready but wow!
