Also I love how his family constantly shows they love that little boy so much but they honestly don’t know how to handle their own grief and maybe guilt with his own. It’s complex and I like they’re also layered.
The rational of them getting close makes so much sense. She’s a penniless noble he’s a commoner turned high noble. She understands high society and that upbringing he doesn’t. Them getting closer is perfect plus the nephew being a little angel who’s trying to be an adult. I love them all.
I love that every moment of this we’re reminded that everyone is fighting for their place. Yeah everyone might have dreams or want of glory. Some are just trying to do the best for the art they love. It’s very wholesome. In a time of ai taking constantly it’s quite nice to see so much love bored into different aspects of the arts and it being treated for what is pure love of creativity. Like most of the “enemy” are corporate managers, and malicious reporters all with their own agendas. Very similar to our reality no?
I like the ending with animals instead of children. Although I usually do like those kind of endings. It’s a pleasant change I appreciate.
