Stories like this frustrate me so bad especially this current arc but I also love them so much because they’re so good. I’m ready to cry, cheer and absolutely love all the different characters and their stories.

All I have to say is fuck her family. Her momma, her daddy, her sister, her brother. Fuck em all. Hell ain’t hot enough for all their asses in my opinion.
I love the pink haired friend I hope we get her romance because I like her. She’s got a good head on her shoulders and is clearly a good friend. Also I lowkey ship her and the class president bc I think her level headedness would be good for someone who’s been a playboy also she’s the opposite of his type. Either way I love her and want more screen time for her.
I love the choice the artist made in having her in all white after her become the eastern lords daughter. White as full rebirth of her identity. Beautiful symbolism. Also I don’t think yall are realizing the ml isn’t in love with her. He’s probably obsessed or at minimum enamored with her. He’s curious and doesn’t understand her. He’s gonna be frustrated win her dismissal of her own life remember he saved her life multiple times plus he’s also lost his own family. He’s probably thinking how can you be so “who cares” about this??? How are you not seeing that it affects me that you don’t care about yourself when I’m bothered. It’s not love but it’s definitely growing to something. She’s an anomaly in his perfect plans.

I do get the criticism however I’ll say this. In many ways her want to leave was because of her lack of affection and love at home with her supposed “family”. Yet her choice to stay is to be with her actual family and her love interest. I don’t think there’s a problem either way. I think if our male lead had been more of a black flag I’d say her leaving was the better option. In this case it makes sense to me that she’d stay.
Usually these families in stories like this make very upset or even angry. Honestly my heart just hurts for her dad. When you’ve grown up with love and people caring for you it’s hard to imagine the cruelty of a parent to their child. Hell we experience that in reality. It’s just unbelievable parents would be evil and abusive. So to him his daughter experiencing they is unfathomable until seeing and hearing it. And I get our girl not wanting or knowing how to deal with the warm of parental love when that supposed love killed her. It’s just so sad.
The only innocents in this beside the ml, fl, ml’s side (servants, command, etc) is the sister. She was a child and ignorant on what was happening. As kids we don’t realize how problematic our parents or family are until we see it through further information or seeing it ourselves. I’m glad she’s realized her sister is a victim. I just really need the entire imperial line and their mistress/people to die. Like I don’t like her family but I HATE the royals.
I love that the world feels so big while it’s clear our protagonist world is relatively small. It feels like with more and more progress the world gets bigger and bigger.
When you know your brother so fucking well that he’d be the only one with the audacity to charge into a church to check your marriage license. Well done.

We got a flat out confirmation he’s not looking for romance at all and thinks most of the women are like the black haired girl and wann fight definitely no harem. I do look forward to black haired girl realizing she likes him tho cause we’ve seen she just admires his fighting style
