The kind of fever dreams you get only when ur ovulating
This is the kind of fl I mean when I say I like villainess fl. From other characters perspective she is a villainess and even from the reader's pov too she is not very likeable but that's exactly what a villainess is. A story is supposed to show us how the main characters develop and in this fl's case I'm really looking forward to that process; someone whose every personality trait is common among hated characters aka villains in stories. A lot of ppl seem to mix up villainess tropes with fls that just stand on business but just because someone looks badass doesn't mean they are a villainess. That's why I'm really looking forward to this story, the fl defs has room for improvement and I love stories where u just can't see a happy or satisfying ending early on, curious to see how the author develops the story and its characters to a *happy ending*(≧∀≦)
I have second hand embarrassment every chapter but funnily enough its so absurd that I can't stop reading...
Ppl are complaining about how long its taking to finish but y'all have to remember the author is getting old and creating a chapter of a manga is a more difficult process compared to most manhwa/manhua that are mass produced with sloppy art. You can really see the detail to plot and how well developed the story is if you understand it. I believe the mangaka knows what shes doing and has it all planned out. I'm just glad she isn't rushing things and ending such a beautiful story halfheartedly.
And another thing I came across the novel on novelupdates and it had a tragedy tag. Whats that about? I'm hoping it was just a mistake...
Tbh lately , these father-daughter tropes have become so sloppy and sort of ridiculous , specially when you consider the characters are literally children but this one was quite enjoyable and cute. They really handled the development of a character and scene very appropriately while still keeping the reader entertained. To put it shortly, I like it so muchhh(≧∀≦)
Every character in this manhwa was so sickeningly annoying , the anger overtook any feeling of angst. Especially, the fl ,she was so good I almost threw up blood(⌒▽⌒)
I'm cackling. I'm on ch 13 they're built like the characters from old bl managas. The size difference is ridiculous
What is that backstory about the mother ? Was she a CBI agent who was actually a spy for the mafia? Idk. Anyway I feel it really strange that Ian's eye color is the same as one of Benjamin's eye. Something is defs going on there.
The manhwa is good but nothing compared to the novel. First of all they leaving out alot of POV parts of each charater which are important and adds more angst to the story. Take the scene after Olivia asks for a divorce from the crown prince , there is like half a chapter dedicated to describing the crown prince's emotions during and after that time in the novel. But in the manhwa there is no such thing. There are also alot of other characters who were already deeply explored emotionally in the novel by this point of the plot. The manhwa kind of makes the characters quite shallow and takes away the depth of the story. Anyway if you'll can handle more angst and would love to delve deeper into the character, try the novel , it's completed.
The author is really bad at drawing expressions which makes it hard to follow the story otherwise it would have been such a great story
I saw the spoon's ig posts this morning and their actually more spicy. Is the manhwa censored?
I saw my notif and thought it got updated. Got my hopes up for no reason.
I read the novel a while back and I feel the characters were described much crueler in the novel , specially the mages(of course , the father and cousin too). It really emphasized the stressful and dangerous environment a child without the protection of a guardian had been thrown into. The overall mood of the story was quite depressing too but maybe because its a manhwa with such a bright colour palette , it doesn't really express the the original story well. The way the novel described Jayna's thoughts and situation was much more real and dark.
So like....I'm on ch 23 but she likes her brother AS IN A ROMANTIC WAY?!How does that even happen?
