I get why Byul is feeling this way, his father being famous put pressure on him. He’s spoiled by his mother but she hasn’t their full side of the story either. He seeked the comfort he wanted from his parents but couldn’t get from them. His dad is more focused on his wife and the mom is very focused on herself and kids second.
