Honestly, more than the SA (and we all saw it coming, tbh; we just hoped really hard that this time would be different), it’s the poor quality of the writing that makes me pause. The dialogue is so weak. I mean, Flashlight has never been particularly subtle to begin with, but reading this chapter was genuinely cringe.
They kept saying the same things in different ways throughout the entire chapter. It was so bad, so flat and underwhelming. Like, it’s been a YEAR since they last saw each other. We were all waiting for their meeting, why make it happen so fast in such a meh way? Where is the tension? The real angst (because hell no SA doesn't count as angst in my vocab)? Okay, they can lie, they can pretend, but at least give us something in the unspoken moments, in their eyes, their expressions. Where is the chemistry these two were so famous for? It feels like they’ve completely lost their spark, and THAT is what I find truly disappointing.
I’m not trying to normalize SA, but as sad as it is, as BL readers, we can’t pretend it isn’t a recurring trope in these stories, which is honestly disheartening in itself. Disappointed but not surprised, yet again.
Ok either Mingwa wants to drag the story a little bit more, and there is going to be some time gap before Jaekyung loses his mind and goes to Dan, either she wants to move forward asap and Jaekyung is going to chase after Dan right away !!! At this point I am even wondering if it's not Dan who would do the first step because man he has more bal?ls than Jaekyung at this point but yeah no way it is Jaekyung's jobs !
The kiss that is coming needs a whole chapter of its own !!! Please authors take your time do not speed it up !

No it won't be the next chapter, I'd say maybe in two chapters if they go fast, but it will probably be three and it won't be smut smut yet, just the kiss, because if they respect that scene like in the novel, the whole moment deserves a whole chapter. But the next chapter is going to be sooooo cool too so vibey, ugh Hong Kong arc is really the best.

Yeonmin's character is a case study that needs to be shown to all of those webtoon authors who can't write good MC anymore. Don't get me wrong he is a cliché type of MC of a cliché type of plot story and yet he is still complex and unpredictable. Love this.
The fact that we all thought, at the end of season 1, that we'd be Team Aaron, supporting him, mad at Yujin, and wanting him to be the one fighting for them, for... that at the end... ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...it's so sad really.
