I need everyone to read this once coz it's so good. If you love good writing and characters, this is the one esp when it's a short story. I love it when authors use popular tropes to serve a plot twist. Now I have to cry again knowing they lived to see the beach ╥﹏╥

Yoonshin worried that a domestic abuse scandal would bring down his brother-in-law when they're literally in korea XD sure he'll lose some clients but ppl are fickle beings. It's great that the sister pushed through the case so at least she'll have finacial compensation for what she & the children have been through.
Also the early chapters are a pain to go through, u need to be a masochist (that's me) and a slow burn lover to enjoy it coz with everything that happened, I cannot believe what the recent chapters are saying. How are they even more down bad for each other. The story def still suffers from clichés esp when Yoonshin wanted rough sex but Sehun went too far.
However, the dynamic is quite good. Yoonshin is spoiled with love (from his sister & Sehun) & will literally go after what he likes (thought we all like yearning men but somehow Yoonshin is hated? ppl project themselves on the MC too much esp on the bottom coz u automatically equate them to a woman & god forbid a woman does the chasing coz that's problematic and she's pathetic #misogyny)
In the novel, the main story ended somewhere after the sister's case and the next chapters are more like side stories of their usual life.
I'm such a lore person that I eat this up. So Smyrna & Capri descended from Arnatans who fell in love with dragons, there's that connection.
Also Jakar was supposed to be the MC but BWAT changed their mind coz Shuraka became their fav lmao. Tei was supposed to be in Mush nu's position as Shu's guard and they would've been dating already.
Anyways, I'm excited for S2! BWAT said it'll be more on Shu's POV so high chance events from 13 years ago would be explored.
The slow burn in the AU is actually killing me esp when author spoiled us with them being lovey dovey in the main story ╥﹏╥
Besides that, I am loving Yikyung here. Joobin having the same trauma but double it in the guideverse. Yikyung being the one to cross the line and push through Joobin's walls is one of the things I love about their relationship.
It is kinda hypocritical for the village that sends the Sols to other families to get used suddenly talk about rape when it's not even the system that they're challenging so barely nothing has changed in the present. Gotta love me a tragedy tho

This was a messy one like all love triangles (genuinely my top hated trope hahaha) but I held out coz I wanted to see if author would actually make Heowoon (white hair) the baby daddy and thank goddd. It would've been fine if he wasn't too coz he'd prob still love her.
There's a trend in most love triangles where the non endgame ML gets so much screentime. Mostly bcoz they know MC isn't gonna pick them so they have to make them likable to keep the "love triangle" going until we actually root for them. Not on this one tho coz he needs to go to therapy & not be rewarded by the narrative.
We'll get more chapters with them and more with the side couples I think so yeah read this if u don't really have nothing much going on XD
