i had fun with this story but its a shame there's a problem with it I can't ignore.
erna's extreme inability to draw boundaries and voice them appropriately defines her entire character and makes her deeply dislikable. it is a real flaw of someone's character that in the real world should not be tolerated in thinking adults.
it would be fine if this was a story of growth but the story itself seems to say that everything and everyone else needs to change, not her, so that she can continue to stay a child.
characters like charin are not complicated and deep lol. they're exactly like ppl who make shitty decisions and then feel bad about themselves instead of taking responsibility, and they latch on and suck anyone who is good to them dry so they never have to truly face life. and if you ever tell them this they cry and scream that they're a bad person so they deserve to die, or they get go cold and go ah I'm the worst arent I. and again, it's the people around them that suffer but again they turn to blaming themselves rather than choose to do anything constructive, which again, just creates a shitty life for anyone who cares.

you can tell the romance is mid because people are way more hyped over the villain, hating him and whatnot, than any of the pair's moments. they r happy but boring together
agree that the romance is mid and the couple is painfully boring together.
but i like the world building and how the story isn't focused much on the romance part, it's like game of throne yaoi version.
the other similar story i used to like is the King's Maker. Unfortunately, i dropped after season 1 where the story got good and not so after (due to heavy romance focused).
this is just my preference :)
they booing u but ur completely right
