Binged this just now. Reading these comments, i think people forgot this started with MC asking for a divorce after 4 years of marriage. So they won’t talk for a while yet. We’re in for an angst ride.
Had it been even 2 chapters? When multiple chapters were about just seggs, seggs, seggs, the comments were crying to get some plot already.
Now they stopped fucking, and Lord Mugo gets a bit flirty, and everyone is hot and bothered in the comments again.
I like the story, I’m hooked. But, no way in hell this would turn into a good relationship in real life. No matter if he tells him, comes clean, confesses. As someone who has basically no friends, if i got this close to someone (to ML two people actually, the girl and his subordinate) and found out that they lied and manipulated to change me, to get me to be a better boss… I couldn’t even look at that person anymore. And it doesn’t matter that MC likes him, and wanted to be close. He complained about him, to him, and told him how to change. If ML thinks about that, how could he believe that MC ever had pure intentions. In real life you would never believe that someone is a good person, if they do what MC done (get close to you in disguise, and find stuff out about you, then get close to you as their real self). The only reason we don’t hate MC, because as readers, we see his thoughts, and know he is not a bad person. (A bit crazy tho, because no sane person would do this, and think they can get away with it.)
I like that MC is about to come clean by himself, and it’s not a stereotypical “gotcha” moment. (at least that’s how it looks like at this point). But realistically this would only give ML life long trust issues.
Still, I will read on, at least let the delulu exist in a story. I want to see them be together.

Seriously. These small dick energy guys are not your friends Hwayong. All of them are jealous bitches. Non of them ever did anything for you. Blondie is being a problem, because he can’t have you, or a loving relationship, or basically your life. And this dude, is a coward, who wants Hwayong to inconvenience himself, to please blondie for him. “BEcaUse he’S YOur FriENd”. How? Bitch how? How are any of you friends? You put the guy you supposedly “love” in debt. Hwayong helped him then. And now you want Hwayong to help him again, because you don’t have the balls to do anything. So you want the whole world to lick the boots of this selfish bitch, who is acting up, ‘cus he can’t steal his “friends” sub.
WTF?! Out of these 4 “friends”, we’ve only seen Hwayong do anything nice for any of them. Even when he had all the reason to tell blondie to fuck off, he still helped. And all of these so called “friends” of his, only want to see him fail. They are behaving entitled to him, saying shit that he is selfish for leaving the dungeon, choosing to be happy, and not pleasing everyone who’s drooling over him. And try to sabotage his relationship on top of that. All the while, trying to manipulate him into feeling like he owes them something, because he gets to be happy and they don’t.
(And I won’t get into piercing guy, we don’t see him much, but so far he behaved pretty similar to the other two)
I hate all of them. Hwayong should cut them off.
Funny how the sadistic gay boy has a good relationship with his family, but he got himself narcissistic toxic friends. Usually it’s the opposite. Maybe he didn’t want to miss the queer experience.
Sorry for the long rant, but i had to get this off my chest, and I haven’t even said all I could.
I could write a book about how passionately I hate these “friends” from the moment they showed up in this story.
That escalated fast. I know I’m reading BL. I’m not surprised at rape, not even at the magical telepathic-dick rape. But boy grew a pussy in 5 minutes, in real life that would be a horrific experience. You touch yourself and have a whole new organ all of a sudden.
I started liking this because it was silly, and the characters stupid in a cute way. But I wasn’t expecting it to have an actual story, or character growth. And I love it! But my heart is breaking
And I’m so happy it’s not just a cheap miscommunication route, but an actual relationship problem. Because these worries are understandable, and baby needs to solve them in his own head. Souma can’t do it for him (I mean he could reassure him, but he already tried.)
I’m actually getting excited for how this silly story will go on.
This story showed me i can love this combo. I especially love that the top is the overthinking one. I don’t usually like it this much when it’s the other way. But these two give me life, they are both stupid in their own way. And i love them.
I re-read this, and man, so many people are saying things like romantic and sweet. ML has so many red flags it hurts.

Ok he didn’t know MC was drugged, but he still raped him, he was saying stop. And he raped him again, even the story says “just because you came it’s not consensual” and covers it up with MC basically thinking “I think i didn’t not like it”
He gets manipulated (which ML plots outright instead of talking to MC honestly and upfront)
He gets locked up, everybody looks at him like he is an idiot (when given the information, he is right to think the red head is the dad) and everyone is fine not telling him that he is in fact getting married. Like yeah, you wanted to stop the rumours, but you couldn’t talk to him after he woke up? He even keeps it a secret that he is the dad for some bullshit reason.
They never learn to communicate. The conclusion is we like each other so everything is okay.
And in the side story, ML has sex with MC again, fully knowing he is drugged, showing, that he still barely has any respect for MC and is just obsessed.
And the “I love you because are so kind/you tormented me so I thought you hate me” which is it? Is he kind or is he an asshole to you? Or did he switch it up? What was he like before, if being blackmailed into sex is considered kind?
And the lack of empathy “I don’t care about the serial killer on the loose, murder and rape. In fact it’s better like this, the lives of innocent people are the basis of my blackmail.” And the reveal at the end that ML basically knew his step bro was the killer? Was that supposed to be cool/smart? You are a psycho, you let him go on with his rampage, just so you could play with MC? WHEN YOU KNEW MC WAS HIS TRUE TARGET? Man. You CRAZY crazy.
In conclusion I like this story, but more as a parody, because the way MC behaves and ignores as ML and literally every side character disrespects him and his trauma (which being drugged blacking out and waking up not remembering sex should be) is funny, feels like a parody of 90% of BL. And i love the cute airhead MC. I kinda like the ML too, he is an interesting starting point, i just wish he would’ve had a character arc, and become a bit more respectful and less manipulative and obsessive (or at least had a more romantic obsession, not the I don’t care about what you want, but i want/need you.) And yeah i like the cute moments, but I can’t ignore this all shit behind them like MC.
Did I overthink this? Yes. But after binge reading this today, i had to share my thoughts. (￣∇￣")
The first thing I read from this author was An Easy Target. And god it was horrific, i liked it in a morbid way, I liked it even more because it didn’t feel like it romanticised what was happening, the MC didn’t end up with anyone if I remember correctly, but I’m still traumatised. I love to re-read stuff but this I’ll never be able to, nor want to.
I didn’t want to touch any of the authors other works. But then i somehow read Love Shuttle and then Hyanghyeon Text, and i loved those.
But I’m guessing this story will be horrifying again, but I can’t help, i like this author, their stories grab my attention always, whether I want or not.
I don’t think what Agia basically ever did is right or wasn’t outright horrible sometimes. But he is a very interesting character, and you can clearly understand his motivations and why he is the way he is at this point. The relationship with Ken is problematic, yes. But it is interesting, and it has layers. If all stories had all healthy and good from the get go relationships it would be so boring. I don’t like stories where it’s all toxic, but this one was changing and growing just like the characters. So yea, Aiga does a lot of things wrong, but he definitely can learn and grow, if he gets out of his church environment where he was basically brainwashed to be like this, so yeah, i like him as a character.
But Vericke. He never showed any signs that he is good, he never really cared about Ken, it’s not even Ken he wants, but the person he sees in him (who also never returned his feelings, as I see so far, so he is a creep chasing after unrequited love). And for the record he bitten Ken to bind Ken to him, kidnapped Ken, raped Ken, just like Aiga in the beginning. So I don’t really get why someone would think he is a better option. If you think that because he is charismatic, pretty and soft spoken so far, then you’re easily manipulated.
Sorry for the rant. I don’t care if someone disagrees, everyone has their tastes, I just don’t understand when people continue reading something, when they are rooting against the main characters.
I don’t have a problem with the uke, he is very realistic, I think, a bit insensitive. I guess most people that can’t relate to him either never been abandoned by anyone or have a problem with sexworkers. But…. The seme… he is cute, but i hate this type of stupid personality in a manga that’s not a comedy. Like, did he not mature a single bit since he left for the states? I liked a concept of a crybaby man, but this is just a 5 year old in a man’s body. And I don’t find that attractive. I get that the contrasting personalities should be the point, but this is too much, one is a person with complex feelings and the other is a parody.
