manhwa, fully colored, fl is a slave working as a servant in a castle that gets invaded by the ml, she has black hair and i think the ml has blonde hair...? she defended the castle and tried to help the son of the castle's lord escape. she also escaped from another guy who collects slaves and is hinted at being a cannibal that keeps the slaves in cages suspended in air and brings one down to eat as the others watch (likely). she is politically intelligent and very reserved, ml wants her because of her beauty at first but then falls for her. she's very down-to-earth and aware of their situation. there's something about the king of the nation wanting to keep ml in check and wanting him to marry the princess and she comes to the castle and is a nasty person who bullies fl, and i think that's where i left off.

I've been reading this since it only had 5 chapters released, so i understand why so many people are sad to see it end, but personally im so happy. I've always wanted to see penelope reach an ending that she deserved and stand her ground against her family. she did just that. it feels a bit nostalgic looking back, but i think stretching this out would've completely ruined the pace and plot. it's the perfect time to wrap things up. all in all a 10/10 read !
