Sure, but the main problem is all of those people w/ a bunch of complexes, who like recieve for free the effort and money of the translators(which are tbh a hit or miss sometimes, in this case a total hit), but still have a bunch of unnecessary complains...
Like bitch if you have so many complains, either go freaking pay for it yourself and learn the language or don't read it at all, why should the people who offer it to other people for free hear your complains to something you didn't even put effort in? Ugh it's just frustrating...

He kills himself in ch 93

Uhh I don’t exactly remember what happens immediately after this, I presume a date, but everything after is… a lot. Basically, XYA moves back to the Northern Kingdom with YHQ, as basically his concubine. Anyways, what his face, amnesiac boi, he goes with them. They get there, people are mean to XYA bc he’s the former northern emperor, there’s some shenanigans going down behind the scenes with YHQ’s uncle, XYA & YHQ have some cute moments, and then amnesiac boi gets his memories back. XYA I believe is kidnapped by former northern empire dudes, like trying to “free” him from captivity (as him being a male concubine is considered disgraceful) and I think XYA doesn’t tell YHQ about it but I forget. Then they are having a date in the town, get fitted for their wedding robes and begin to plan for it to happen very soon. Amnesiac boi plans an attack and is about to stab XYA but YHQ gets in the way but that was amnesiac boi’s plan all along. He wanted to stab YHQ, and then amnesiac boi dies. (He is reunited with that general dude in the afterlife) YHQ is unconscious meanwhile XYA is taken away by the uncle dude for questioning, and uncle dude is basically like “you put YHQ in danger” and then XYA is like “shit bro, I knew that”. XYA feels a lot of survivors guilt for all of the people that have died basically in his name, not to mention in his previous life he committed suicide(this didn’t happen in the comic I think) extensively because he felt guilty for what happened to his brother, and XYA’s mother had also committed suicide while he was sleeping in her arms. Basically, he has a lot of unaddressed trauma and survivors guilt, combined with feeling as though he is causing misfortune to YHQ. To atone for everything that has happened, he slits his own stomach at basically the request of the uncle dude, with YHQ crawling in the snow towards him trying to prevent him from doing so. XYA is buried in his wedding gown. (There’s more chapters following this, it’s not the ending but this is basically what’s about to happen)

It's definitely a sad and tragic story but I love the plot and the whole story. Thank you author for such a great story and thank you for spoiling us. This story definitely worth the time.

So ai know this will seem weird.. but im glad the amnesiac boy died??? Cause the way I see it him and the general were truly soulmates. You can see how hurt he was to the point of being driven to madness fue to the loss of his love and his companions. At least rn he can rest in peace in the afterlife with his dear

In the novel, yes! I think in this comic he dies from cancer. In the novel he shows up to talk to his brother I believe, his brother is also a victim of abuse from their father (I believe because the brother has some mental health disability? I’m pretty sure the brother is neurodivergent and that’s why the father abuses him bc he’s a “failure”. XYA believes all of that is his fault because he didn’t do anything to prevent it, but like he was also a child…), and so he has pent up anger towards him for their childhood. XYA kills himself im pretty sure by jumping out of the building, bc the brother is basically like “idc if you die from cancer”. It’s been awhile since I’ve read the early chapters, but im pretty sure that is more or less what happened. (Also he never tells YHQ any of this! I was so sure he would’ve and that would be another angsty moment bc YHQ’s mother also killed herself. It’d be like dramatic irony, but he doesn’t. I guess it’s still dramatic irony that XYA kills himself in this universe too tho) Oh, and remember the brother dude of his sister in law that has his name and his old looks? He gets reincarnated into that body after that XYA killed himself. (I’m not sure if that was intentional, but I’m pretty sure it was intentional)

It’s kinda confusing, but he did die. He gets reborn into the body of his brother in law, that guy that has the same name and same looks as his old self. There’s shenanigans after that, but YHQ does eventually realize it’s him and they get back together.

And what happens to the soul that was originally in that body??? And who was that person after all?

I mean like it was always weird since the beginning that there was someone who looked exactly like him there right? Was that the original emperor who swapped bodies the moment the mc woke up in the emperor’s body?

From my understanding, the OG emperor also died. I don’t remember if the comic says this, but the novel mentions on several occasions that the OG northern emperor was a sickly person. When XYA reincarnated into the OG emperor’s body, he had actually passed away from illness. (Remember how XYA awoke in the bed? OG emperor was sick in bed following the death of his father.) That’s why when XYA tried to show off his fighting moves later on in the novel/comic, he couldn’t do it bc the northern emperor’s body is sickly and weak compared to XYA’s OG self. The other person is his brother in law, cuz Xiao Ping-something(I forgot her name) married XYA’s sister. In the web novel within the novel, I don’t think the brother had much of a role, but originally what was supposed to happen is that the Southern Yan empire and their country were going to be joined in marriage with YHQ marrying Xiao Ping-whatever her name was, in order to avoid going to war. Now in this timeline, our two girlies got married and are living their best lives elsewhere, and I think in order to avoid war the brother dude is sent as basically a hostage type to YHQ. YHQ thinks that this is XYA because of the name, but is disappointed when he sees him that it’s not him. This XYA feels disgraced because of his situation, and I think there’s some guy that is trying to get him to conspire against YHQ. I’m not entirely sure why, but YHQ is drugged I believe, and right before this XYA takes a bunch of drugs in order to overdose. XYA is reborn in that body at that moment, so basically XYA takes over bodies after the person has stopped living, so the soul has passed on.

Wait but to say that he had already died doesnt make sense cause in the novel isnt he alive? Unless he wasnt and it was just the nobels pretending to be him and pulling strings?
Also how would possessing a dead body work? Shouldnt the body start decomposing?

Wait so the brother in law also has the same name as the mc? I didnt remember that.
