I got some, but definitely not all of my bookmarks back. I worry I messed it up by adding things to my lists after it all got wiped even though they said it would be fine. I’m OK being patient~ just wonder if I’ve been passed over or if things are still happening behind the scenes.

I know MC is gonna lose weight to confess (based on the intro), but can someone who’s read the novel spoil if he gains it back once they get together? I really am so tired of BL’s that purport to have a chubby character but are too afraid of showing someone being loved for their chubbiness or (god forbid) showing someone chubby having sex.
Is the name of the novel the same as the manhwa? If so I'll look for it and read it

Only on like ch 18 of the novel out of 100+ chapters but ml goes back and forth between helping mc at a reasonable amount with his dieting (just giving advice but not like invested in mc's weight loss... kind of like just humoring him) and not wanting mc to lose weight because he doesnt think there is anything wrong with his chubby build. If anything, because ml is possessive, he gets annoyed that mc is working to lose weight and meeting people (like at his new gym) along the way. But ml is VERY much in denial about his feelings from what i read so far so i think this will be a very slow burn. Either way, ml is very much in love and obsessed with mc and his chubby body and is not the one wanting mc to lose weight.
Also, mc doesnt seem overly self conscious about his weight. During one scene, a friend even reflects on how mc never seemed to be very insecure about being chubby growing up. Mc is only losing weight because he wants to get as close to ml's supposed ideal type as possible (learned through a secondhand conversation from a magazine interview, mind you). Mc is also fully in belief that he will be rejected, so all of this is to only be rejected when he is the "best version" of himself. Obviously there is all kinds of fatphobia in that belief but he doesnt seem to be insecure in the traditional way fat people are depicted. Its really just to adhere to ml's alleged taste so that he can be rejected after giving it his best shot.
