It's a toxic story. You just aren't the target audience and you are invited to leave and go read fluff.
You are spending a lot of time being the defender of this manwha, you're literally replying to almost everyone who has any criticisms of its story. Please understand that we can criticize something even if we ARE the target audience - nothing is perfect and dismissing people with "you aren't the target audience" is a really poor defense of a piece of fiction.
I don't specifically defend this Manhwa in particular. I'm telling people who aren't the target audience that they aren't the target audience, because it is true.
Of course nothing is perfect, but you're not even issuing criticizism, you're basically saying there's nothing redeemable when, so far, it's basically been a very usual course of actions for this type of toxic BL, which tells me that you aren't used to it and don't read toxic stories as a choice. Because there's nothing neither surprising, nor disappointing so far, it's following the grand lines of the average toxic BL.
And also you aren't issuing any constructive criticism you're basically saying you don't like it. So there's nothing to even defend here I'm just telling you that your feelings probably won't get better because you don't seem to know what you're into.
Let me make this curt to the original response , the trajectory of this story was not what I had anticipated when I began reading this. Saying this is a “toxic story” doesn’t solely reflect on what is actually occurring, in the sense that it doesn’t encompass what’s actually occurring to Dan. You have every right to have a preconceived notion on someone disagreeing with your viewpoint, but it doesn’t mean it’s correct. Which is why you had to make a little jab at me to make yourself feel better about being unbearable. Hope you have a deserving rest of the day!
