I wonder if Hitomi was part of the yakuza at some point, or one of their clients, or maybe their doctors (you know they always have a doctor who fixes gun shots haha). I mean he knew Youmei and Kiriya and he clearly knows how to fight ! So he was definitely linked to them at some point.

Summary of Chap.36: The new black haired guy is the lawyer working for Kiriya. And he is also Hitomi's good friend. They grow up together. It is this black hair guy help Hitomi to find where Ito is. When Hitomi found that Ito was drunk and unconscious, he was so angry that he fight against Kiriya. Hitomi once saved Kiriya's life so he accused of Kriya had forgotten his favor. Then some policemen appeared with the black hair guy, they took Kiriya and Niwa away. During the chaos, Hizuru ran away to find Youmei.The black hair guy advised Hitomi to reconcile with Kiriya. However, Hitomi thought Kiriya and Niwa deserved to be caught into jail. Itokawa agreed reconcilation.

Youmei says: "Don't make me use violence" and tied Hizuru against the wall. So I read the chapter and it's not an extra is the prologue of the story.
