So all the MLs kinda suck? They all seem slightly defective when the FL looks like a potato next to the king’s lover, and they were meant to fall in love with him anyway. The count/duke also feels really weird when you consider he basically thinks of the FL as a “souvenir” from his first love. It’s really hard to find someone to root for. Also the plot feels frustrating, like nothing is really happening? Or should I say it’s sort of aimless? I get that the FL is just trying to survive, but that’s not really a direction for the plot to go. Just some thoughts, Y’all.
I’m all for some smut but the ending is so disappointing. And the mc is just so stupid and cowardly. Like the guy literally has the power to run away any time he wants, but is too afraid to do so. Maybe the side stories will fill in the blanks a little more on what happens after leaving the hospital. But I won’t be here to read it.
I get that this an important part of the story, but I’ve almost forgotten what happened is season 1. And honestly, it’s kinda boring. It would have been better to get bits and pieces of flashback instead of a totally different story.
