I didnt love the ending at first, felt abrupt, inconclusive but it makes sense actually. Like do they even like each other besides the bonding? For them to properly start dating they would need anothers volumes worth of development. Im glad they didnt rush into that and I look forward for more

Like due to a misunderstanding they spent so much time apart and unknowingly hurt each other, even though they felt the same way. And later on when they met again as adults they had a bad impression of the other, and started a physical relationship under the wrong pretenses that felt bittersweet. They eventually did sort their stuff out but the path to get there felt a bit sad to me, so much time wasted
uh..read "naked sword and the tree peony of black". i mean, it's the same devoted x devoted feeling only except they also dont get together. (they never date anyone else as well, js like this manga) i mean not exactly like this manga, but uhmm , mature men yaoi(?)

I must have re read boku no omawarisan like 10 times already, absolute peak (and strinkingly similar to this specific manga). As for the other two, I never heard of them before so I binge read today our sunny days and I loved it, my soul has been cleansed! Now im just impatiently waiting for the extras. SAME I REREAD BOKU NO OMAWARISAN EVERY BLUE MOON THAT I REMEMBER IT AND WANT TO RELIVE IT. I swear if it ever gets a live action and it's good I will combust from the glory. Personally think it would be better adapted as a live action over anime adaptation. Though either way has to be done right. There's barely any raw real bl series out there with appropriate pacing. A lot get dragged out with overplayed "romantic" pauses. There are more movies than series for realistic good ones that don't just end in tragedy (of the few that there is) ┗( T﹏T )┛.
