Well look at any other comment section of usually manga that shows rape. It is discussed as such rather than glossed ovet and the plot is criticised more often or not. Yaoi as a genre does not need to rely on romanticising rape and treating it as acceptable within gay relationships. So those that do should be called out for such poor writing. Jiwon could still have been that cold kdrama rich boy without resorting to sexual crimes. The author also basically used the rape scene solely as a way for DG to guilt trip Jiwon to go out in the day with him and DG thought it made him better than all the Jiwon fans at uni thar Jiwlm got so emotional over him which was utterly ridiculous. Overlooking the majority of the abusive plot just because you want your ship to be the end game is not a fair look at the story as a whole. Yes if yoy were to read only the past few chapters it would seem like a romance plot, but as a whole it paints an abuser and a victim in an awful relationship.
