Why do I feel like the story is going to go: mc raises ml until 10 ish before teenage years, terrorist incident (ml loses control and Mc takes the blame?), MC is imprisoned and loses custody to the state, ml somehow loses memories of mc raising him, and when they meet again years later they end up having the relationship we see in the first chapter where mc is running away.
Going to let this marinate, and I'll leave this here to see if I'm even remotely correct. Maybe 1 year?

i hate it when a 30 yrs old woman gets reincarnated as a 5 yrs old and acts like a baby + extra hate when they have a crush on a 5 yrs old so i'll try my best to not add those weird ass stories and instead add tolerable ones
