Just because you’re divorced that doesn’t mean you’re no longer a father. There’s no good explanation for why Taka doesn’t know his dad. And then that man had the audacity to comment on how Taka was raised. Ik the chapter ended well as always but that is insane to me
maybe it is because Taka is too young to understand plus the whole family register(koseki (戸籍) is a Japanese thing because he lives with his mother so has to have her last name

He might be too young understand that his parents are divorced but he absolutely is not too young to understand who the father figure in his life is. He clearly rarely sees/talks to his child outside of school, I know this changes but still, very disappointing from that man.
i heard the custody laws in Japan are pretty weird. and they allow or are pretty quick to give full custody to one parent or something and let the kids never see their other parent again
It's because all the drama that goes on the story along the way. They do end up together! It's just a whole rollercoaster of emotions haha. You should read it tho!
They'd be beefing about the ML, tbh I simply don't feel bad about how the ML were written at all. That's is how he is, and also consider the facts that he's an adult with different mindset than of all.
I’m reading the light novel and the chemistry between Han Yoojin and older sung hyunjae??!!! We were robbed of something in the past life that’s for SURE
