It might be okay to try "testing" the relationship to understand what the other person is feeling, but it was surely one of the stupidest ways to do it. You can ask him on a "date" and see how he behaves, you can try to be more romantic instead of pursuing only physical and myriads other ways. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ASKING NOT TO BE EXCLUSIVE? How can you get any info from it? How does a person's brain should work to come up with this convoluted way of testing? The most not obvious and confusing? I know the author wants to make things dramatic, it's what we are here for, but it still feels very stupid.

I'm on chapter 69 for now. And I'm a bit miffed about the characters and story. I feel so much pity for MC, he is truly an unfortunate soul, who doesn't deserve any of it. But at the same time, I don't feel like I like him? I feel only pity towards him, because there is nothing else to feel. On one hand, I think it's normal that he feels very numb, seems kinda resigned to everything and doesn't have any more strength to fight. But at the same time, it truly feels like he has nothing to offer, expects only abuse, and brings a lof of trouble, which at the same time is totally not his fault. And he is bit dumb, yet it feels like foolishness caused by extreme stress and maybe depression. Still it's frustrating. ML is just plain, that's all.
Also, MC has a lot of pride it should be a good thing, but he is prideful at all the wrong moments. And even worse that he is pitiful when he shouldn't be?
Oh, maybe I know why I feel this way. The story makes MC to constantly feel indebted to ML, when he clearly doesn't like to be in debt, while trying to show that they build a romantic relationship based on it. It always puts him in inferior position, in which he was forced to, even in love.
We didn't get to see a lot of what MC likes, or who he is outside of his troubles. I was surprised when he wanted to see the play, because he didn't seem to have much interest in anything.
I liked how prideful MC was at some points, but it was strange how sometimes he would tell himself "just put up with it, you don't get to have dignity or self-respect" then he would refuse to take money or help from ML?
What's more established for MC is the ability to put up with things for the greater good (in his eyes) but it felt like the story was trying to get us to believe he'd always had a strong sense of self and respect for himself, which isn't true? Even if it embarrassed him, wouldn't he still take the money, even after falling for ML?
I guess we're meant to believe that since MC never received so much kindness from anyone, that he forgets to be greedy even when he's able?
Anyway, I also see what you mean about MC being plain. I really couldn't tell you much besides the fact that he's pretty nice, cares about his family, and likes acting. I wish we got to see him be more selfish or greedy leading up to the USB situation, because it felt like it happened out of nowhere. It also felt sudden that MC fell in love with ML as well, as though it only happened because the story needed it to??
Yes, ML did things for him, but I honestly don't feel that he was all that kind (at least, from MC's POV early on in the story), and we already knew the relationship was contractual soo.
Another thing is that early on, we're led to believe ML is fake dating MC in order to piss his grandpa off because he's trying to marry him off. That meant that having many people see them together was kind of the crux of what they were doing (which could have put MC's career in jeopardy but whatever), but then we learn it was an excuse to get the USB and to boost MC's career so he could be in the limelight and ML's grandpa couldn't get him killed- all that said, why were they so reckless everywhere instead of just places where ML's grandpa's people could see??? MC's career could have been ruined lolll

One of the hottest couples, I've ever seen - appearance and bed scenes A bit short, and felt so bad for the dragon, so I wanted to see him avenged or reincarnated to live a better life. So, I wish it was a longer story, still what we got was pretty complete and interesting plot-wise. One of the most beautiful characters ever Like wow, I couldn't help, but admire every time I saw him. His story is very sad too, so I wish for him to only be happy from now on.
