I don't understand how parents like this never come to the conclusion of having more than one child if their expectations and legacy are all staked on said child acting how they want. Like it always perplexes me that they legitimately don't consider the fact that a child just won't turn out the exact way they want it to. Like why put all your time, energy, and resources into someone you consider wasted opportunity, useless, and/or without potential. Obviously having another child and putting them through that same experience is awful from a normal person's perspective, but speaking from their's I don't understand why they didn't just do that
I suppose his wife couldnt bare more than 1. Adoption to these kind of families is out of the game and 2. Another child with another woman/man could be a hit on their reputation. They could have another via IVF/Another woman to carry their child (im against the later tho). But idk if they mentioned that

I feel like that sperm donor think that jinhyeong's worth is 'his one and only son'. Maybe if he did have another siblings (brother especially), his father might have left him alone + neglected him wayyy more as a child.
