i can understand disliking a piece of media's theme's and not wanting to engage with it because of them, that's a completely normal act and no one is obligated to give the time of day to work that doesn't personally interest them. what i don't get, is why you would think to yourself, "hm i don't like that" about a story, go into the comments section that is dedicated to said story, and is ostensibly full of people who like the story and ARE engaging with it, express your dislike and expect people to agree with you, like huh?? if you want to talk about how weird it is, you'd have a better chance doing it literally anywhere else but here. when people do stuff like that it makes it so hard to take them seriously or believe that they're acting in good faith
