I am js in chapter 10 but icl the black haired guy is pissing me off like I get that he must have had some sort of a traumatic past that doesn’t mean he should treat the grey haired guy like shit and not communicate and think that he’s protecting him, like damn bro all this shit wouldn’t have happened if the black haired guy actually communicated with the gay haired guy about his feelings and everything.

the whole point of the backstory was to basically explain that she logically did it for no reason, however in her head she was protecting him from being different/neglected like her. she even says "i doesn't make sense" bc it doesn't and she just has issues and didn't want him have issues (in the small town) as well.
personally it doesn't earn forgiveness but what she did was rly not that serious so long as she stops rn
