i feel like Dan developed feelings because he take things the wrong way (delulu) like how JK sheltered him and offered him to pay his grandma's hospital bills. JK on the other hand expresses his kindness in that way, but short-tempered and violent, that's no excuse to keep falling in love with someone like him.
