wooow I love this. why the fuck do both of them look so good!? especially the seme. he's exactly my type... of uke. lmao it was a little surprising but I can roll with this, it's really hot too!! the story is really interesting. at first I thought eunsung was a freak, but hyunwoo was incredibly shitty to him. the more you analyze their circumstances, the less eunsung seems to be in the wrong. above everything, their relationship is what's wrong. but eunsung wants to cling to it, so... it's gonna be messy. and I'm all for it

whoops! that's an old review. and I was wrong, I was so fucking wrong! there is sex!! the story was just incomplete when I read it (it still is). honestly, I love this story a lot!! idk wtf I was on about, the story makes perfect sense and there isn't too much dialogue. the dialogue and development of the story are all really creative, actually! miyako and touka feel like teenagers, as if they're in a separate world from the adults around them, as if they speak the same language. it's really refreshing! this is definitely a story about youth. it's hard to describe what makes them so teenage-like, it's the way they deal with things, the intensity of their emotions and their naivety. it's so easy for their own feelings to catch them off-guard and for them to get lost in their own world where all that matters are their little problems. that's especially true for touka because he's sheltered. miyako has a lot more stuff to worry about. but even he has simple-mindedness of a teenager. and both characters are so fucking cute! both visually and behaviorally. the secondary characters aren't annoying and the author makes good use of the story's setting imo it's a big part of the story in a meaningful way, not just to justify cliche scenarios. the characters' affection is very believable, they really feel like friends that became lovers. and I love how it's mutual even in its intensity! it's just so youthful! this is amazing!! the two main characters are so complex and unique and lovable and their chemistry is effortless. it's cute, too cute!!!

ngl I kinda wonder why this is so popular. I'm not even a big fan of BDSM dynamics, but if the plot of a manga is built around them, I expect them to be the real thing. everything here is pretty tame. mizuki is gorgeous and lovable and all, but... he's supposed to be a sadist and he's probably gentler than most semes out there. mamiya, the uke, who supposedly wasn't even into bdsm originally has to beg him to do more hardcore stuff. I feel like the author is out of their depth regarding the theme. mizuki's "dominating" can be basically summarized by arbitrarily saying "I didn't tell you you could do that" when mamiya does the most inconsequential thing. it's not very convincing, 'cause it comes out of nowhere and he never punishes mamiya for anything. how the hell did his previous partners accuse him of torturing them when the only thing he does is slap mamiya on the ass? even the most vanilla couples do that. another issue I have with the story isn't the pace per se, but the scenes. they all end very abruptly, I felt like I had accidentally skipped a page or even a whole chapter more than once. that goes for the sex scenes too, they start right in the middle of it and end right in the middle of it. the art is doing most of the heavy lifting here, 'cause it does look pretty good, even though the author gives the characters ugly expressions sometimes, I don't know why. the story is kinda funny, there's barely any drama imo. anyway, idk I expected a lot more

whoa wtf can't believe I've read all available chapters already. well... seme is a douchebag, but at least his personality is consistent. he feels like a real person, just a very troublesome and self-centered one. and the uke isn't the only one affected by his douchebag-ery. everyone around the seme has basically the same worries as the uke. dude makes everyone walk on eggshells. I like this better than when the uke is the only one suffering. now, about the uke himself... honestly, he's an idiot. and a crybaby. it's hard to believe that someone who's had to face so many hardships can be so immature. he does NOT act like a 29-year-old. he's too needy and pathetic. I do appreciate his relationship with his grandma though, I think it's the best part of his character. All the rest is just "generic coy pushover". Too nice for his own sake, you know the type. I do feel sorry for him though, 'cause he's honest with himself about what he likes and doesn't like, he just can't express it because he owes the people around him so much. But he's still an idiot. when he thought that if he bought the seme a gift, the seme would be so happy that his bad mood which, mind you, NOTHING the people around him tried could fix, would improve, it pissed me off so much. like, WHY would you think that? is your brain missing a piece? does it not work properly? what is it that you know about this man that would make you think things would go that way? I couldn't even feel sorry for him after he was inevitably disappointed because the outcome was so obvious. he shouldn't have been disappointed in the first place. he looks at the person in front of him and he doesn't see them for who they really are, he sees all of what his delusional, biased and needy mind thinks that person COULD be. he gets his hopes up all on his own and then gets disappointed all on his own. I kinda despise people like that. he does things nobody asks him to do and then feels sorry for himself when no one appreciates it. this man relishes feeling sorry for himself. anyway, the art style is frankly amazing. everyone looks SO good, especially the main two characters. I don't see a happy ending in this story, tbh. the seme is too much of a self-centered bastard. he couldn't love the uke the way the uke wants to be loved. I can't picture them in a fluffy relationship at all. but oh well, let's see. the story is interesting though. I look forward to the conflicts more than the romance lol

NOOOOO I NEED MORE CHAPTERS!! honestly, it's hard to write a review that does this manhwa justice. it's too fucking good!! woo-won is the most lovable creature under the sky. he's so, so, so precious. seo-an is... well, he's not cute. but he is very likable. both of them are very complex characters. seo-an is a rude stuck-up bastard and yet he's sensitive enough to be socially anxious. he's that way simply because of the kind of people that surround him. he wants to be loved more than anything. and this man is no coward. but woo-won is. that's why nothing would've happened if not for seo-an's guts. they both have self-esteem issues, but I personally think woo-won's are more severe. the way he feels like he doesn't deserve anything good is honestly heartbreaking. the author spends a lot of chapters developing their friendship, so when they actually get together, it's sooo satisfying. 'cause you truly believe the depth of their feelings for each other. you watched them grow to like each other. two people who cared deeply and understood the other who was drowning in loneliness. they relied on each other multiple times and they clearly enjoyed each other's company. I love how seo-an's overly critic personality shows in his mental comments on patterns of woo-won's behavior. he acknowledges woo-won's flaws, but he isn't truly bothered by them. it's like seo-an knows how hard woo-won works, so he can't help but forgive everything. woo-won probably doesn't even think seo-an has flaws. he's just the kindest person in the world. and the strong type of kind. his kindness makes him a coward, but not a weakling. he shoulders everything, no matter how painful. even as they want to help each other, they both have boundaries that the other doesn't cross. seo-an could solve a lot of woo-won's issues by paying his debts, but woo-won wouldn't like that. they're both very stubborn people. and the other has to oscillate between patient and a little bit forceful at the right time for things to work. and they do that dance flawlessly! there are so many touching meditations about life, at least one of them will definitely resonate with you! the sex scenes are amazing as well! the way these characters hunger for each other is... phew. and I don't need to tell you the art is amazing!! there's something about the way the author draws dicks... the art is uncensored, so it already has an advantage over others, but it's not about that, it's about the shape! most authors draw dicks like smooth cylinders, true lightsabers. this author gives them texture! it's so much hotter this way. anyway, there's just so much love in its purest form and passion to be found in this story!

wtf this is super good!? the dialogue feels incredibly natural and flows incredibly naturally. this is so rare in most smutty BL where everything feels contrived to fit in a cliche or a way to develop the characters' relationship. the development here is completely believable! the pace is perfect! and the characters are very consistent! and the art style looks great! and the story is incredibly fluffy too. this is basically perfect, I need more chapters!!
