I have mixed emotions about this... I knew 99% they were gonna get together and be happy/lovey-dovey but it feels so WEIRD and JARRING to see them...act like a normal couple?? I feel like we needed more time spent not just with Jaekyung changing his ways and sitting with the guilt of just how SHITTY Dan's time has been with him but also them y'know...

Connecting? Getting to know each other as people? Like outside of sex they hardly ever just...TALK. Dan forgives him and absolves him of his wrongdoing too easily. So much of their relationship has this heavy overbearing awkwardness from the situation and their huge power imbalance. Like do they have anything in common? What do they talk about when they're not boning?

The biggest reason I stuck around from day one is the pretty art and that they have similar builds to my own characters. I get that Jaekyung is supposed to be an asshole that apologizes eventually but he is so THROUGHLY UNLIKEABLE and SELFISH through SO MUCH of this story that it's no surprise that most readers hate his guts. (including me) I don't mind a story with toxic characters or less than healthy relationships but the way things were done rubbed me the wrong way in so many different ways.

I do love Dan though, I'm glad to see him happy however much I wish the story would have been handled differently.

I'm glad the truth finally came out. I was getting sick to death of Chang-Geon enjoying Sam-Myeong's affection when he DOESN'T FKING DESERVE IT!!! I know his childhood was dogshit but no amount of trauma gives you the right to FKING KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE! He killed his frikkin' parents! He killed that guy from the pitfall trap! How on Earth do you come back from that?!

He's a murderer, kidnapper and a rapist! I feel for him and the crap he went through but again, no amount of trauma gives you a free pass to be an evil human being. He really is too far gone to deserve a happy ending with all the shit he's done... It's pretty irredeemable... But this is yaoi, evil toxic semes usually get their way in the end...

I have been YEARNING for the day that Jaekyung would get down on his knees and sob like a baby, BEGGING Dan for forgiveness!! I hate that it took Danny boy being half dead in the hospital! I wish he were awake to see it!! Please let him wake up and let him see this glorious sight!!! My dream has come true!

Finally! Bastard is becoming self aware! Whether Dan was a virgin or not is irrelevant to the matter of whether the stuff JK put Dan through was acceptable. It wasn't. EVER. What he put Dan through was horrendous either way. It does make it worse that his first experience (and his ONLY experience) was being forced into selling himself to someone that a.) doesn't know how to be gentle and b.) was only using him as a glorified fleshlight.
He was just as bad if not WORSE than that creepy hospital warden. Really the only differences is that JK is young and good-looking and he didn't stop at ATTEMPTED SA, he COMPLETED the SA. Several times! (At the beginning when Dan wanted to back out, in the gym showers when Dan clocked him in the face...etc etc.)

I still have NO IDEA how Dan fell for him at all. The only thing he has going for him is his face and maybe his work ethic (but even that is toxic, he works to the detriment of his health). He's a stupid meathead outside of that. I think Dan mistook the brain chemicals that get released when you do it for actual love. Also his isolation didn't help. No deep friendships and obviously he doesn't want to tell his poor sweet granny what he's been doing to get by.

He was lonely and trapped between a rock and a hard place. Before recently they barely spoke to each other about anything outside of their arrangement/work. Till now they've never confided in each other or had any mental/emotional chemistry. "Why didn't you tell me that happened?" my foot, why do you think?! Obviously Dan figured you wouldn't give two shits about it! Like you've ever made him feel like he could talk to you about ANYTHING!

The apology on the ferris wheel was a good start but I'm still waiting for the scene where he's on his knees, sobbing like a baby and begging for forgiveness. (Only for Dan to say "F*ck you." in a polite, graceful sort of way.) I know they're most likely gonna end up together but I definitely need JK to suffer more.

The bastard got what he wanted... Sam Myeong don't fold like that! Don't give him what he wants! He's a crazy sociopath that doesn't care how bad he hurts you! For real this is one of the most toxic pairs I've ever seen...

I swear to god, if he would just let him see his daughter he would score MASSIVE points with Sam-Myeong! He wants to see him smile so bad then let him see his baby! He'd be a hero to him for finding her and treating her well! He might even forgive him for all the horrible shit he's put him through! (I don't he should forgive Chang-Geon regardless but it's possible he would!)

If he kills her there goes my last shred of sympathy for him... He's already done plenty to be irredeemable honestly... Let the man see his baby dammit!

I feel so bad for MC man... I was kinda hoping he did get away and find his daughter eventually. But of course knowing what kinda story this is there was no way he wasn't going to be found... I think he should try to sweet talk his way out of this and maybe use the seme's obsession with him to his advantage. Like make him do stuff that would actually benefit the people or just roll with it until he can find a chance to kill him.

I freaking loved the art but the ending was--! This author is too cruel! First we have the pre-side story ending being abrupt as fk and then I get my hopes up thinking that maybe the side stories will fix it but NOPE! This thing started so strong, was hella hot and just spat in our faces at the end!

I am sooo happy Dan said no! Jaekyung better get on his hands and knees and BEG for Dan's forgiveness! Even then he wouldn't deserve an ounce of his attention! Danny boy deserves way better than him!
