If you're talking about Chinese historical then I know 'You've Got Mail : A Cautionary Tale' and 'The Wife is first'. However, there's a lot of QT novel that has good historical arc :)

Idk probably because it’s a rape scene so they don’t really wanna make it some sensual acrobatic movement sort of thing but encapsulate the emotions of their reunion via facial expressions? That’s my guess along with the obvious art style change/improvement.
Yeay hopefully because of the scene. After a long time didn’t see them together. And i can only see them half face, body. Kinda sad
