hopefully not since there’s still a lot of story left… if it ended soon then there’d probably be chunks missing. it took about 6 years to finish season 1, so either it’ll be another 4-5 years and they’ll finish strong, or 2-3 with lackluster production.

There is a kdrama called May I Help You that reminds me of this. Not a diner, but the main character helps people cross over to the afterlife. I cried every episode
