For once I wish the MC was reincarnated as the saint to take down these corrupt church institutions it's kind of ridiculous how recycled this trope is. Or maybe, have a saint come to her senses and not be evil? I don't know ...*sigh* also she probably noticed that the baby can read minds. It's over for everyone

I’m not sure, but I think this trope is common in Korea because cults are notorious there Like they be bothering people on the streets and following people around is what I’ve heard. Or maybe it’s completely unrelated because I’ve seen this trope in Japanese manga too, but the korean ones seem to use it a lot.
I really miss the original art style. It brought a lighter atmosphere to the story. Now, the darker strokes in the recent chapters make the story feel a bit heavier. The friends are missing in action and the silly shenanigans from the protagonist are nowhere to be seen in season two, chapters feel dull and repetitive and the art hardly experiments with other forms of expression. the original arts style was dynamic with interesting framing, fun perspectives and angles, and detailed shading.
Now it feels as if I'm reading a completely different story with flat, lifeless characters
