I’m not sure, but I think this trope is common in Korea because cults are notorious there Like they be bothering people on the streets and following people around is what I’ve heard. Or maybe it’s completely unrelated because I’ve seen this trope in Japanese manga too, but the korean ones seem to use it a lot.

I re-read the last chapter because I didn't understand why he did a 180 with his behavior, and I guess it makes sense now? Maybe I'm wrong but if his biggest concern is not being poor, why doesn't he get another job or something? I know the trauma of an abusive and neglectful childhood is really affecting him so maybe he hasn't considered that yet

The thing is that she's not that young, but the author keeps drawing her very little. She was already starting teething several chapters ago and also started to eat food other than formula.
I really miss the original art style. It brought a lighter atmosphere to the story. Now, the darker strokes in the recent chapters make the story feel a bit heavier. The friends are missing in action and the silly shenanigans from the protagonist are nowhere to be seen in season two, chapters feel dull and repetitive and the art hardly experiments with other forms of expression. the original arts style was dynamic with interesting framing, fun perspectives and angles, and detailed shading.
Now it feels as if I'm reading a completely different story with flat, lifeless characters
