Why are people complaining about rape read from a yaoi? Like 50%<+ of all yaoi is some kind of rape fantasy... Why read yaoi if you aren't into that kinda thing? It's a well known fact that most girls/women has either had or have some kind of rape fantasy/dream. I would suggest for readers that feel like they need to complain about 'rapey' content should focus on reading Boys Love (bl) aka shounen-ai instead, which mainly portrays strong and sensitive bonds between guys and you're lucky if they sneak in some kisses... Anyway to each their taste but if you read yaoi in here chances are there's some juicy rapey content happening and I just urge you all to enjoy the fact that it's yaoi with some delicious illustrations and content (if you know how to pick the right ones ;D) and then tomorrow to out irl and donate some gold to an anti-rape organisation and feel good about you knowing that after all it's just a fantasy and that doesn't mean one supports anything of the same kind in real life. (Oh btw loved the comment saying "I'm one of those people who know how to separate fantasy from reality so it didn't bother me" looool made me giggle irl for a while!) it's not like it's a huge problem or anything yet every time a yaoi shows rape there's always tons of comments about it as if it's some great surprise xD I mean haven't ya learned yet? They're guys ofc they'll need to be trained the right way (muhaha)

As much hate you may get for this..you're actually right. For the most part yaoi=rape fantasy genre.
Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil, is one of the more popular Yaoi genre'd cnovels out there! It's kinda got it all -
Super smexy OP plot-lines (sorted into different arcs, if you've read it you know what i'm talking about), Great characters! Although as usual a lot of face-smacking involved ;D But don't let that distract you from the charming personalities of the main couple - Black bellied/white lotus but clever and resourceful uke (none of them weaklings! Yes i'm talking to you Okane ga Nai!), and strong OP but super adoring gong husband lal! (Although both hilariously double faced at times! It's definitely a super cute and touching love story haha!), If you're a yaoi fan i definitely recommend this read if nothing else but for the web novel to become more popular!
Maybe then someone will transform this awesome adventure+yaoi<3 into a worthy collection of illustration volumes! Of course the prerequisite for this would be for holy trinity of yaoi not to be lacking in any way! Meaning it would have to have top notch;
- Artwork - Story (that also means don't skimp on the explicit scenes! Many a yaoi have been ruined by basically being light bl .. Just sayin' a decent and upwards yaoi shouldn't get ruined by prudes/haters/cencure! Feel like people have a big tendency to mix up bl and yaoi.. bl is basically kissing or alluding stuff.. Yaoi is tha real deal yaaasssss xD so dont b hasty!) - SOUL! Being able to capture the same feelings we get from reading the novel - because it's really good all-around!
Anyway hope maybe it'll gain some supporters and honestly I have no idea whether posting this is good or not sigh, i'll let you be the judge of that I guess! - Please treat me well!
